THINGS TO DO
There are plenty of outdoor fun activities to enjoy during your stay at Kidman Cottages. Get active with a bushwalk or a hit of tennis or pickle ball, birdwatching, native animals, dine in the dairy with an open fireplace,
or snuggle up by a campfire in the evening (weather and season permitting).
THE DAIRY
The picturesque old dairy, with its open fireplace, refrigerator and BBQ is perfect for dining. Delicious local gourmet foods can be purchased in nearby Hahndorf to prepare your very own feast together with some Adelaide Hills wines will ensure a memorable day.
There are also a variety of rural and grassed picnic areas that can be enjoyed on the property.
Wineries
The Adelaide Hills region has many fantastic wineries to choose from, Kidman Cottages is a short 15 minute drive from many of them. Enjoy a wine tasting and sit down lunch at 'The Lane' or 'Howard Vineyard',
both of which are very picturesque.

WALKING TRAILS
There are a number of sign posted walks within Unalla’s 200 acre property which take you past dams, wetlands and woodlands which offer a variety of picnic areas (campfires can be arranged season permitting).
Walk to the highest point lookout from where you can see The Coorong.
Birdlife and kangaroos are abundant with some magnificent old gum trees located throughout the property.
Kidman Cottages are the perfect place to explore, relax and take in the natural environment of the surrounding area, suitable to all ages.
Kidman Trail
The Kidman Trail is a 269 kilometre hiking, biking and horse riding track which traverses through the Fleurieu Peninsula, Adelaide Hills, Murraylands, Barossa and Clare Valley tourism regions. Kidman Cottages backs directly onto the trail and is positioned in the perfect place to rest while travelling this route.
